Amy Dickinson is a Senior Vice President in Human Resources at VSP Global, responsible for leading the Operations Pillar for the Enterprise Diversity & Inclusion strategy and a team of HR business partners that support Vision Care, the company’s largest line of business.
Amy has been in Human Resources for more than 25 years in various industry segments. She has also held other operational roles and has been a licensed insurance agent and underwriter.
Amy has training certificates in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Situational Leadership II, Speed of Trust (Covey) and various other leadership development tools, including Emotional Intelligence (EQi). She holds a Liberal Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Kansas – Go Jayhawks!
Amy began serving on the Program Committee in early 2019. Her effort and passion made her a welcomed addition to the Board in September 2020. As the Covid-19 pandemic loomed, Amy was instrumental in supporting our founders as they adjusted services and adhered to mandates, best practices and safety measures needed. Amy’s passionate to support initiatives and curriculum that contribute to the personal growth and leadership development of mentors and mentees in the program is evident in all her interactions. It was no wonder that she was unanimously voted to serve as Vice President in July 2022. We are thrilled to have her expertise, passion and quiet leadership as part of our team.
Amy lives in West Sacramento. When not working, she enjoys watching sports, spending time with her adult children, binge-watching Netflix and visiting local wineries.
