What’s a FUN-a-thon? It’s a way to have fun while making a difference. Simply choose your own adventure to benefit youth in foster care. Your adventure can be a 5-mile jog, 50 burpees, gardening, trying something new, or whatever activity is challenging yet fun for you. Then, sign up — it just takes 5 minutes — and ask others to support your effort by donating to empower teens from foster care.
The activity you select can be completed between now and September 20. Others can donate a set amount or give per mile, movement, or action you’ve committed to doing. And we’ve made creating your fundraising page and the asking part easy with this participant resource of email and social media templates.
By joining this virtual event, you will gain virtual SWAG and the opportunity to win great prizes. Best of all, you’ll raise needed funds that will connect youth from foster care with mentors, positive experiences and educational opportunities! Your support, as a participant or donor, will empower youth with experience in foster care to successfully transition into adulthood.
